Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Bed Bath & Beyond has two different ones. One is the small three step covered in a fleece covering and then they also have a four step one that is a hardened plastic. Check them out. They are both supposed to be good and the price is just right plus you can pick it up and not pay shipping.

| I've seen dog steps at Walgreens... not sure the quality but they're only like $10.

I like the one I got, but it isn't tall enough. Bella won't drop down to the first step on it....I guess she thinks it's too narrow for her?? But, in the box, they sell a 5th step conversion kit (the pieces you need to add on the 5th step--everything just snaps together, but it's still nice and sturdy, especially for a small dog--and the fleece cover that includes the 5th step for $14.95 plus S&H. I'm going to do that I think....I still got agreat deal on the steps (I think they ended up being ~$15)! | |

They aren't very tall, fyi, but we have a lower furniture style bc that's how we roll - so they work perfectly for us!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I got a wooden step stool that's in the children's department at Target, it's not very tall, and our bed is, but it leads to a bench so he has no trouble with that. It's got a little storage area for toys, which is handy. With a regular height bed, it would probably be tall enough. In the living room we just use a small bed by the couch, and he jumps on that and can than reach the couch. We have wood floors and I thought this would help cushion his joints a little. Here's a link to the Target steps, and they come in many different colors. Step Stool with Storage - Honey : Target

| I have these from Walgreens, and they work just fine for us! The fleece cover is removable for easy washing.

| Follow up on steps Just to follow up on what I ended up doing. I went out and bought the steps from Bed Bath and Beyond; pretty nice construction; carpeted steps and foldability for storage. Because we live in a condo my 6 month old Lola never had to deal with stairs that much. So of course the minute I set these steps up she started jumping on and off our 18" couch and our 28" bed. Good thing the steps fold up and store nicely. Thanks to all for the responses. |
