| Anyone ever used any of these products? I live in a high rise and my dogs bark like crazy when they hear someone. I don't know how to make it stop. Has anyone used these products at Stop Dog Barking with the Dog Silencer Pro - Safe, Humane Anti Bark Control Product ? They say they are humane to the dog and safe. Any reviews on this method? |

| I have heard that it depends on the dog. Some dogs it bugs them enough that they will stop, some just ignore it. I need to get something like that, our neighbors dogs are driving us crazy. Most people quite their dogs these just do it all day!

| I've never used one like that before, but I have used a citronella collar for my bicheon. It's a collar that has a box similar to the others that you posted, but you load it with some citronella spray, and whenever she barked it would shoot out a mist of the citronella under her chin. Dogs don't like the smell of it, and from what I remember it worked pretty well. |

| I've not tried that particular product, but I did get a bark collar for Daisy. It doesn't shock, but what it does is lets out a shrill beep if she barks loud enough. She only had to wear it a few times and after that, anytime she barked, I would just show her the collar and she stopped. I keep it put up most of the time and don't have to bring it out, but every now and again, she turns into Miss Barky Butt. When she's barking I just hold it up and instant quiet! Little barks and barking a bit while playing wern't a problem, the problem was her sitting at my feet barking non stop and me not being able to figure out what she wanted. I would try everything, taking her out to potty, playing with her, food, water,...I just couldn't figure it out. I finally came to the conclusion that she was just a barker and it was rubbing off on Abby. I'm so glad we got the collar. Good Luck.

| I got 2 of those, the table and the collar one. It did miracle on my Hungarian Vizsla dog years ago. He stop barking totally it was great. But if you have more then one dog,it is a different story now. I got 5 yorkies. So The noise will start when ever one of them bark.. so they won't related the bark with the noise... I think it is good only if you have ONE dog... I was in your situation too.. I got a letter of eviction for my pet!! So I sold my condo and bought a Townhouse with a small backyard and a basement for the dog. You can put the tv/radio really loud before you leave the home, It help. Doggy day care is an other good option.. Good luck... |
