| Has anyone purchased clothes from tinkerbellscloset I have been buying my YT girls clothes from her, the 1st time took 8 weeks she mailed the items, the 2nd time I ordered more, so far nothing, I've emailed her asking where my clothes are...no reply on her end. I'm hoping that she's not out of business, I've prepaid for the clothes. Her homemade dresses at beautiful, she does have stuff from China, unfortunately, I can't believe that it takes 10 days to mail stuff to Canada. What’s the mail system doing walking it here??? Her website is contact@tinkerbellscloset.com. Let me kmow..

| The problem is us here in Canada. I order things from Des (Tiger's Mom- Go Fetch) and it can take upwards of 3 weeks.. it's the boarder.. they hold packages as long as they feel like. |

Ive sent you many emails, and your order has already shipped out. I just sent you another email. I do personally make all my Tinkerbell's Clsoet items and I also offer other designers products on my website which many of them do manufacturer overseas as almost all non-homemade dog clothing is including Monkeydaze, 5th Ave Pets, NY Dog, etc. Im not sure if that is what you mean by offering items from China. I can promise you ever dog boutique has items like these. Orders to canada can sometimes take a really long time and Im not sure if it is customs holding onto it or if canada postals systems are slow or what goes on.

| I work about 5 mins walking distance from the Canada/US border. I try to have all my stuff shipped to my US address because by mail Canada Customs SLOWS things down so much. I just had a friend send me some new grooming tools, through the mail. it took 8 weeks. When i received them I could clearly see which day she sent the prackage (8 weeks prior) but it was held up at customs for the longest time!! She recently sent me another item and I assumed it would take 2 months like the last time, I received it 8 days AFTER she sent it. So go figure?? On e thing I try to do if something is being sent from US to Canada is to get a tracking number. Costs more for shipping but at least I can track my parcel and where it is. I have also learned that when anything is sent by FedEx, etc the brokerage fees are INSANE...some as high at $100...but sent by US postal they were only $5. When we import our own stuff (have it sent to the US addy and then we bring it across the border) we act as our own broker and do the paperwork ourselves, we save money but lose time.

Canada can be slow even though it's right on our border.....I know I've mailed labels and cards there and they got there fast but I think boxes or packages take much longer.... | |

I'm sorry to hear that your packages are taking long to get to you. I know it's tough shipping to Canada. But trust me, her products are worth the wait. Best of luck to you!

| I just wanted to add (although it's not really directed at the OP because it's not about shipping) is that Shana is a total sweetie to work with. One time I received a bunch of stuff that didn't fit right -- not sure why. Probably because Tia put on wieght lol and Shana sent me an entire brand new order (everything hand made) for FREE! She is unbelieveably kind and caring when it comes to her customers. Shana already knows that I am a lifetime member of her fan club. We're going to start working on Cali's winter wardrobe soon and I can't wait to see what she has in mind for that! Shana, Cali says woof woof hello lol

| Don't get me wrong I love Shana clothes, there is nothing like them in Alberta, I have recommend her website to many people here and will continue too. So now I know it’s the stupid border. I just clued in I’ll arrange the delivery by UPS or FedEx and put the value of items low. I had a doghouse delivery and it’s only cost me $15.00 from Texas. I’m planning on getting more clothes because I love showing off Shana clothes to other dog store here and they certainly can’t compare her beautiful stuff to theirs. Thx for the heads up on the border holding.
