| Snoozer Stow and Go - opinions please? Just moved to CA from NYC and am getting my first car so thought I should get my 6lb yorkie mutt, Sig, a car seat. I know a lot of people love their snoozer lookouts. Has anyone tried the Stow and go? Thanks! |

| We have two of them and they work great! We use them without the suitcases though. PM me if you want pictures!

| The Stow and Go's are the best! I've tried others and there's no comparison for safety and durability. I've been using one for 4 years now and it's still like new. I used a coupler and hooked both my Yorkies in it. I have a friend who fits three Yorkies in it. However, I recently bought a second one so they can each have their own. Daisy likes to lay down as soon as we get into the car and she was pretty scrunched up trying to do that in her half. I use the suitcase beneath it for boost, since I have an SUV. They ride in the back seat of my Honda Element. The suitcase has a quick open front drawer which is great for stowing leashes, cleanup bags, coats and I keep first aid stuff in there too. I've never taken it apart and used it as a travel bed when you get to your destination, but you could.

| The stow and go looks pretty neat!!...... It would have been nice to have the "suitcase" part for Shelby & Seymour when we went to Kansas City! ....... We have the Lookout II snoozer ( it has a drawer )...... which we really like. It stays in my vehicle all the time. (I will probably get another one eventually because Seymour likes to laydown and "hog" the whole thing! )

| Your first car! You must be excited . I have two Yorkies. We (meaning my husband and I) don't go out that often, so usually only one of the dogs is out at a time. However, this one is plenty large enough (I ordered the medium) to handle both dogs (I ordered an extra safety strap so they each have their own), or allows plenty of "lounging" space for one dog. The drawer on the bottom is very nice to hold their stuff. It's not as fancy as the Stow and Go, but for us it's more practical. I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee; it will fit in the passenger front seat or takes up one passenger seat in the back (leaving room for one or two other passengers). It's high enough for them to look out and enjoy the passing scenery. Lookout II Pet Safety Car Seat at Precious Pets Paradise There are other sources, too: Google "lookout II" + Snoozer for more information and cost options. I purchased the grey "pleather" to match my car's seats; the cover comes off and is machine washable (but because of the pleather, needs to be line-dried. The other styles can go in the dryer, too). If you travel a lot and do overnighters, the Stow and Go would probably be a better option for you. But if you just do "trips", then the Lookout II would probably be a better fit for you and your doggie, while leaving enough $$ left over to buy some new toys or a dress or something Last edited by Lee B; 09-19-2008 at 08:06 AM. |

| It's foam on all sides, well-padded and safe. The little notch in the front is a perfect height for a chin rest when the dog is lying down. They appear to like it just fine: if it's in the house and on the floor, they readily jump into it to catch a snooze at home, too. |
