Build a Bear is cute.. I will give them that..
My daugther and I went last year and we had fun making our own bear and buying cute bear clothes.. But as far as for our little furbabies.. I'm personally not all that impressed.. They just do not fit our little darlings in the most comfortable fashion.. Since they are made for bears and not for Furbabies..
We have alot of wonderful seamstresses on this site.. Tinkerbelles closet has some adorable fashions to offer and so does Chloe.. who has a site on ebay..
I am not saying any of this to promote my own stuff I can do that in the Products for Sale section..
But.........
This is why I started making clothes... so they would fit our Furbabies.. and I am sure that is why the other ladies did as well.
We may charge a little more than BAB but.. they are for our Yorkies and small dogs and are made to fit them not a stuffed animal..
I just took the clothes off our BAB the other day when I noticed these threads.. not only are they made in china but the overall quality is questionable.
But thats my opinion..

The stuff I buy from Build A Bear is all MLB, NCAA or NFL licensed products. I buy them because the logo is authentic and they are very inexpensive. I enjoy going into the Build a Bear store and I enjoy their employees. I don't dress Stewie but once a month so the quality is good enough for me. He is the perfect weight, too. They definitely won't fit smaller dogs than 6lbs.

I think it's just another option. For unique stuff I would definitely go to a site specifically for dogs. I LOVE Tinkerbell's Closet and I plan on buying the LV coat and matching bow soon to match my bag but I think for some basic cute inexpensive clothes and if they fit Build-a-bear is great too!

Edited to say that Build a bear was the only place I was able to find NY Jets apparel.

I went into build a bear store in my local mall, and omg i was like wow! they had cute little Joe Boxer like shorts with a hole for the tail.. and they were all so inexpensive.

but the shirts are a little short though i must say, because my dogs are quite long.. well Ginger & Cloey are pretty long.

I like BAB clothing only because they are very cute and also very inexpensive.

I like BAB too but it doesn't fit mine. I do use the accessories sometimes though!
