Yes.. the metallic one's are just as soft as the plain ones. I looked at them both of them when I was in the store and I can't really tell any difference in the material. It was very soft, and it seems to get even softer the more she wears it. She only wears it when we go out for walks and potty breaks. She use to only wear those really thin "Show Leashes" (not sure if that's what they are called or not) so she never used a collar. Since she has a show coat, I found a more simpler way to put it on her. First I put both legs in her harness and then attach the velcro just at the very end of the encloshure (biggest fit). Then I part all of her hair so that is doesn't get pulled out. Then I tighten it to a snug fit.
LOVE THEM!! I'll be sure I order them from "Paw Treasures" becuase I want more of them too. I only have one dog (Lola) but I want her to have different color, so that she will have some that match her other outfits. I have the Hot Pink Metallic one and it looks really nice againist her hair color. It brings out the reddish tones in her hair.

Thank you for letting me know about the metallic ones. Our dogs are so spoiled aren't they......now I want another color to go with Annie's leash color. She is a much happier dog since I bought the No-Choke collar and its cooler to wear in summer than a harness vest. We are in Florida and the weather is hot from about April thru September, at least.

I am to scared to try a collar on Suzi. She has a harness I would like to know though about when you take your Yorkie to be groomed, and they use those collars? Is this safe for a Yorkie? It scares me, and I do not know what to do about it. OR am i just being overly paranoid?

I bought a safety collar designed for cats for Garrett.

-It's the perfect size for my little man's little neck.
-It comes with a bell attached which helps me keep track of him throughout the house and the backyard when we're outside.
-The catch on it is designed to release with not much pressure.

I use it for id tag attachment ONLY. It doesn't have a d-ring, so you can't attach a leash to it (it's for cats). I use a harness for walking.

I feel very safe using this type of collar, but I'm not careless, I take it off when he has to go in his kennell.

They have pretty nice colors at most major pet stores, just check the "cat" section .
