It's a Yorkie Thing Donating Member | Furminator-have you used one?? I know you wouldn't use this on a yorkie...but for those of you with "other" dogs in the house....Have you ever used a furminator??? What did you think of it??? My mother has been given a shih-zu and I need to groom him. I was thinking about trying one of these but for the price - I'd like to know what you think.

Therapy Dog Donating Member | OMG this is awesome - I use it on my 2 longhair cats and they love it and you wouldn't believe how much fur comes out. It's worth the $$$.

| I'll try this again, If you see two posts I apologize - the page froze up. Anyway, I use it on our black Lab Lucee but not on Bella our Yorkie. It's meant for dogs that shed and it works great for Lucee. The Shih Tzu does not shed. I got on the furminator web site and they have "recommend breed" and "not-recommended breed" lists to determine if it should be used and the Shih Tzu is on the "not-recommended" list. But the Yorkie is on the "recommended" list, strange huh? Maybe they don't realize that the Yorkie does not shed?

| Use it on my Pommie and my daughter's long-haired part-Himalayan kitty. Love it!!!!!! The bird's love the fur for their nests when I do it outside.
