Purchasing Frontline Plus I've purchased Frontline Plus on eBay several times. I notice they have postings for Frontline in large vials and then supply a syringe to measure the correct amount for smaller dogs. Has anyone had experience with this? Do you think it's safe? Is there anything to look out for when purchasing products like this online?

I would not buy flea preventatives on Ebay. There are a lot of counterfeit flea and heartworm products on the retail market. The only safe place to buy them is either from your vet or a licensed online pharmacy like K Vet, Drs. Foster & Smith, etc. Please read this from the EPA: http://www.epa.gov/pesticides/factsheets/petproduct.htm

I have bought that on EBAY in the large vial and it works just fine - luckily I've not been scammed I guess but yes it is cheaper that way. I quit using frontline though when I moved farther south as it didnt work as well and now I use K9 Advantix and buy it the same way.

The only place I would purchase anything like that would be from my vet. I would worry about it being the real mccoy. To me it's not worth the little bit that is saved.

I guess I should've mentioned that I don't buy mine on ebay anymore, lol. Not because of getting scammed (i never thought about that!) but I have a feed store that I go to in town that sells the flea medicine - I buy the box for the large dogs and use that to distribute to my dogs who are much smaller.
