| Your reviews on natural flea medication I have always used frontline plus on Rocky, but i hate knowing that he has all this medication on his skin. Let alone the greaziness that it leaves behind on his hair. Has anyone tried anything else like natural flea prevention and if so did you like it and can you tell me the names. Thanks, Elisandra & Rocky

| I don't use anything on Ellie but if I had to it would be Dawn and Program. I don't know much about natural remedies but I wouldn't use garlic personally. Other than that, I think it's worth a try.

| I use frontline plus but my vet gave me two syringes with caps so that I could divide one dose in half for my two boys. She said that was enough for small dogs.

We have such a tick problem here that we really have to be careful and do what we can using Frontline. I have never tried a natural method. | |

Recently started bathing her in Minksheen because of the repellants in it that are natural so I figure I give her a double whammy that is not a chemical treatment.

| My little Haylie Mae had a HORRIBLE seizure 3 weeks ago when I used Avantage on her. I will never use that stuff again it scared me to death!!!!! I just started her on fllea treats. It is a Vitamin B1 tablet. She really gobbles it up cause the little tablets taste like liver. Its supposed to repel the fleas and ticks. We will see. They said to at least give it a month to work. It is very affodable. Hope it works, will keep you posted. You can check it out at flea treats. com |

| Thank you everyone for your post on flea medication i think at this point im willing to try anything natural that my baby wont have a bad reaction to. I tried Minksheen on Rocky and he had a allergic reaction to it i had to take him to the vet to get a shot becuase he got all these little red dots and his skin was so dry my poor baby the vet said it must of been one of the ingreedients in the shampoo because he didnt have fleas
