YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Dear Toy Makers.... Dear Toy Makers, In designing toys for dogs of all shapes and sizes, do you consider the fact that dogs have teeth? I know, this may sound like a stupid question, but I guess its no dummer than making a dog toy filled with stuffing with just a thin little layer of fabric to cover it! I have now been through all types of toys (fabric, plastic, foam, rubber, you name it!) Now, I do understand that puppies have sharper teeth than adult dogs, but when I come home with a brand new toy from the pet store, I would expect it to last longer than five seconds. No kidding! So, is something wrong with the toys, or my yorkies? Seriously, we've even been through the so-called "indestructible" ones. Perhaps my crew would be a better test group to try these babies out on before they make claims like that! So, does anyone else have these problems, or are my guys little Tasmanian Devils in disguise? I wish I had photos of all the fallen toys in our toy graveyard - but mostly they are unrecognizable when I find them! Here is a short list of what they have done ... 1. Kong - yes, these do last longer than the rest of the toys, but they still managed to chew off the little ends. 2. Rope toys - they love them! But, after a couple of days, they start to "eat" the rope tassels on the end! 3. Balls - they have managed to bite chunks off just about every ball they have ever had! 4. Stuffed toys - need I even go there? So, Mr. & Mrs. Toymaker, I urge you to consider the fact that my yorkies are apparently super canines. Perhaps you should look into stronger materials for these toys? Do they make titanium toys yet? Yours truly, A Super Canine Yorkie Momma of 5.

| I gave up on toys (stuffed) for Lucy as of last Thursday. I brought her home two very nice toys from one of the boutiques here and within 2 hours she had destroyed them both beyond repair - that's $20 for less than one day of play. No more stuffed toys for Lucy.

| LMAO PLEASE, when and IF you find such a toy, pm me and let me know. I will buy a case of them! Over four years of purchases I just give up! I could have had a vacation somewhere with all the money spent on toys that did not last more than 5min. I even got to pull colored string out from Bud's butt one day when he was going to the bathroom. The string from the robe just went threw his system and the colored string was just haning out of his butt! It took me a couple of minutes to realize what the heck it was I kept pulling and pulling until it finally came out. I never thought of him eating this stuff! Very dangerous. |

My Little Man! Donating Member | yes totally agree. Maxi destroys his toys in a manner of minutes. There are few toys that he doesnt destroy thou and I dont know why. Its like pick and choose. I gave up and thinking about making the toys myself for Maxi. I noticed every time I fix his wounded toys they dont rip in that area.

| Tricksie has eaten all of those toys also. All of them say, "these are not chew toys and if it breaks apart, throw it away". What do they think dogs want a toy for? TOO CHEW!!!!

| OMG I am still laughing! Miss Pep C, who is 6 1/2 months old, has chewed through everything EXCEPT one toy I crocheted for her!!! No store bought toy stands a chance with this little demon! So far the crochet ball is still in one piece...which is a stunner since I thought she would have it unravelled in about a minute!
