| Know of any long lasting chew bones? My yorkies love to chew! I've always had enough chew bones around that they stay away from things they're not supposed to chew on. I used to give them edible Nylabones and they would gnaw on them over the course of several days. Recently, Nylabone has changed their recipe, and now my dogs get through them in one sitting. I don't like them eating that much at once, and besides that, the bones are expensive! I've tried giving them the nylon bones that are not edible, but they don't like them. Does anyone know of a chew bone small enough for yorkies that lasts for a while??? Thanks! |

Go to your local pet store and purchase a natural bone. It's a beef bone I believe and already cooked and cleaned. They are safer than anything you can give your dogs to chew on. They come in all sizes so find one that will fit your dogs mouth. They are white and can not be eaten because they are a real bone. Please stay away from Nylabones, rawhide, bullysticks etc. None of which are healthy and are dangerous to your pets. | |

| I give mine Merrick's Flossies, Wishbones, and Texas Toothpicks. They love them. I don't give them any bleached rawhides or greenies. We were told by our Vet that the bones can wear down their teeth - terribly. We had to quit giving them to our Lab as I could actually see that happening. So now, we only give the babies parts like tendons. Mine don't happen to like Bullysticks (they like the Flossies) but I don't know why that wouldn't be ok to give them? We do take everything away as soon as it gets down to the last couple of inches... and believe me that's when they seem to like it the most - but that is when they can get it caught in their throats. I guess it'll be trial and error for you to find out what yours like and what agrees with their little tummies. Good Luck!

| I believe they're the tendon "below the knee" on a cow.

| Got Tricksie a Flossie and it lasted 15 min. The Kong "Wubba" is still holding up but she is getting bored with it.

| My girls love the Dentley Chewflips which we purchased from Petsmart. They chew on them anywhere from 4-7 days before we have to toss them because they get too small. |

| Great Yorkie Chew Bones I currently don't have any in stock, but you can purchase "Jumbones" by Pedigree. They range in size but smalls are available. They last longer than the Healthy Edibles bones with my Yorkie. I'm not sure when I'll have them in stock, but they can be purchased at a Petco,Petsmart or somewhere like that too. Quote:
