| Shoes/Boots Can you suggest a good shoe/boot for a 5 pounder? Interested more in comfort and function than fashion..of course both would be great. I was initially against getting shoes for a dog but he might have allergies and I want to give it a try. |

| Hi I almost wanted to giggle at your post, but I KNOW you are serious. I wanted to giggle only because I thought about what my babies are like when you put shoes on them. I never have laughed so hard at watching them try to walk in them. Sunshine tried wlking by lifting each foot chest high with each step. then she got frustrated and just stood there and refused to move. lol.. Rainbow was cute in them... she actually walked in them pretty good, but about every 4 or 5 steps she would hold one leg up and shake it (trying to shake the shoes off), then take a few more steps and shake a different leg. lol.. They CAN and some DO get used to them though, so it might be worth a try. Hopefully someone on here can help in recommending a brand or type to try. Good luck...

| I took Addison to a friends ranch over the holidays and we got her some booties so she wouldnt get those stickers in her feet and hair. I originaly bought some at petsmart that went all the way up her little legs but they were a little too bulky. So we went to our favorite store Trendy Tails and bought some booties made by zack and zoey. They are a great legnth and stay on well! And best of all they wash well and hold up to crazy yorkie sprinting around like she just robbed a bank!
