| Purses and outfits? I'm just wondering how yorkies do in dog purses and little outfits : . I bought a little outfit for my westie to wear and he hates it and has never worn anything except a jacket ever since. But i didn't even bother to try and put him in a purse when he was a puppy.

| My yorkie, Lacy, wears clothes every day. She got her first sweater around 11 weeks old. She never minded it being on at all...didn't act any different. She only wore clothes occasionally until she was several months old. Once she was almost full grown, I started buying her a lot more clothes, and she started wearing them every day. I think it's just normal to her. She acts the same naked as she does dressed...other than she can be a little more hyper sometimes when she's naked LOL. She's always just been good about carriers too. I've always taken her a lot of places with me...more so just carrying her in my arms than in carriers, but she's always really calm and well-behaved when we go somewhere. I think liking clothes and carriers is partly getting them used to it and partly to do with the individual dog's personality. My parent's yorkie hates clothes but he never really wore them as a young dog either.

| Bella doesn't act any differently when she has clothes on. She is wearing something everyday (although I have to admit, sometimes she doesn't get out of her comfy jammies!!!! ) Actually, the other day after her bath she didn't have clothes on and my husband and daughters were saying how strange it was to see her without clothes on!! They kept saying she was naked---put something on her!!! I think it is all what they are used to. I bought Bella a Juicy carrier and she isn't too excited about it. She would rather be carried or be on her harness walking.

| I think it helps to start them young, but I've heard of several people on here getting adult dogs that never wore clothes before but were fine with clothes when they started dressing them. So that's why I think it can also just depend on the dog too

| Meka wears clothes almost daily... She doesnt mind em'. She doesnt really like the dog purse because I usually hold her, so when she has to go in it...she doesnt like it. I think it depends on the pup...

| Mojo loves to dress up in clothing! LilyGrace doesn't so much...but is learning to put up with it. Normally, we put her in clothes and then drive around in the truck, so hopefully to get her use to thinking if she puts on clothing and "deals with it" maybe she will get to go somewhere!

| [COLOR="Red"]I tried when Stella was 12 weeks old and have continued, but she still doesn't like clothes. Acts like a completely different personality when she's dressed and not a very happy one either./COLOR] |

| Piper almost jumps for joy when he sees the purse and knows he's going bye bye. Sebastian runs and hides.
