| Collars What kind of Collars to you all have for your yorkies? What do you think of the Rhinstone ones? Are they pretty durable? Starsky needs a new collar and I want to get something special, not sure what to get.

| If it is for walking you are better off getting a harness because of their trachea problem. If it is for pretty then you can put whatever you like.

| i use a harness to walk........... but toby still wears a collar at all times with his contact and name info on it..... i really like toby's collar, i got it at petsmart, it is part of the "vintage" collection i really favor the leather collars because they really do last forever (unless they are chewed through, which i havent had happen) |

| I would also like a neat, unique collar for Sully....and it's easy to find them for girls but not boys. I saw one at PetSmart that was spikey all the way around (not sharp spikes but just tough-looking, etc) and I thought it woudl be funny for Sully but my husband vetoed it. Hmm oh well.

| I only use collars on my dogs for fashion purposes. So I LOVE rhinestone ones on my girls. When I had my male min pin he used to wear a spiked collar which was so cute on him because he looked like a "tough" baby doberman. But if I take my babies on a walk I use a harness. Still fashionable but safer for them.

| I also use a harness to walk, but they do wear a collar just for looks .. I have the leather collar personalized with the rhinestone letters. I got it from Brooke @ imapreciouspup.com! check her collars out, they are quite spiffy if you ask me!! and I LOVE them!! they are very durable (since the first one i bought off of ebay Oreo chewed up to pieces).. |

| I love the collars with the letters. I have gone thru several collars on ebay though . Right now I am going through a necklace phase. Since chloe has so much hair I dont really put anythign around her neck. BUt my chihuahua tinkerbell always wears a pink necklace or a sparkly necklace. Its just enough to make her girly . She doesnt want to wear any clothes right now since its so hot in texas so necklaces do the trick.

| I have a harness with the crystal name on the back with the rhinestones. That way I get the best of both, the cuteness of the popular collars and the function and safety of a harness. I got it from Brooke at imapreciouspup.com. It's the cutest color and holds up really well (Linus chews on it a lot!) and it's still great.

| Linus chews on his harness LOL, i use harnesses also. I have lots of collars for mine but they never have them on, I guess I think that I wouldnt want somethind around my neck 24/7. We use harnesses for walks, either the crystal bling, harness vest, or step-in, whichever is close by. When we go out though they show off their cute crystal collars (well Rocky has a green plaid leather one that is super cute). |

| Billy, is starting to get a colllection of collars, a black velvet style with rinestones,a sailor collar, a daisy collar and a few more, he will grow out of them soon, and I'll have to get more LOL, he only wears them if going out to visit or coming to work with me,otherwise at home he doesn't wear anything, I use a harness for walking, in baby blue with a cute white dog bone on the leash, oh how we spoil these pups LOL.He always looks so,ooo cute. |

| This weekend I went to a Coach outlet store (since I did not see them featured on the coach site) to look for a Coach collar for Tiny Baci . And to my surprise and luck I found the exact one I was looking for . It was perfect it feels a little heavy on him but I'm leaving it on him all the time for him to get used to it. I really really want to signature logo one... I just have to check back later. here is a pic of it.. I tried getting a pic of him with it on but he would not stay still.

I have only used one collar, but never attached a leash to it. It was only used for show. It was a CAT collar, that had elastic on it. All other uses, I use a harness that has rhinestones on it.
