| Harness in red? I am in need of your wise assistance once again! I am buying a harness for Kali, since she is starting to have traecea (spelling might be wrong) problems. Harness I like this one, but I don't want a pink or babyblue harness, since she is a very dangerous kill-on-the-loose dog when she takes walks. Have any of you seen this or one that resembles it in red? It could also be pine green. I am picky - I don't want one with velcro and I don't want patterns, wings or diamonds - this is strictly for taking walks Thanks Mette

| Do those type of harnesses cause the hair to mat? Are they warm for the dog on a hot day? I am still using a kitten harness for Mya. It has easy clips on the back of the neck and back. It is very supportive and comes in a rainbow of colours including red.

| Mette -that is a very good point and one that has been bothering me too for ages now... the harnesses I have (bought in UK so I can't help with a website etc!) are great when Gyps and Gizz walk normally but when Gypsy Rose gets nervous of something or another and wants to head for home she PULLS badly and makes a dreadful noise as she does so .. I end up carrying her out of sheer worry .. all 10lbs of her!! Ana xx |

| Thanks Ana - that set my mind to not get that kind of harness. Maybe I could buy the pink one and dye it?

| This is the one I have for Sabrina. I know it comes in blue, pink and beige. I got Sabrina the pink one, and for the puppy I'm getting this weekend I got the beige. Sabrina loves it and I do too. It's really really hot down here and it's cool. No pulling on it either from her. It doesn't mat up their hair at all that I've noticed on Sabrina. I don't think they come in red, but I'm thinking about getting another pink or beige one and painting it with red acrylic or fabric paint. New puppy's going to be blacker, so I think she'll look good in red. |

| Harness These are my favorite harnesses and leashes: http://www.alpenschatz.com/soft_leather_harnesses.htm They are pricy, but I only plan on using one! They are very soft leather, especially on the "underarms" and don't pinch or bind. My dogs also seem to mat less with the rolled leather. 3puppies4me |

| buddy belts i'm in canada, so i'm not sure if they have these in the US. they must... you guys have everything else and more! they are called "buddy belts" and they are really wonderful. i use them for my pugs and my YORKIE. he is tiny - only 4 lbs, so i know the hassle in trying to find a harness that actually works for the little guys. i will try to find a picture of them, but if you look up buddy belts on the internet, i'm sure you will find them. they are comfortable and really easy to use!

| Just wanted to follow up on this thread in case others should be interested. I found a rolled step-in harness in all the right colors. Look here: https://www.tailsend.com/productcart...&idproduct=431 And I have bought 2 keychains with hearts in my local "store with stuff" that can be put on it to look like those very expensive ones
