| Sof-Krate I am slowly starting to buy all the stuff needed for when I bring Cooper home in December. I just bought the Sof-Krate at Petco for Cooper to sleep in at night and to use for travelling in the car. Has anyone used these before? Also, I am want to buy a pen to keep Cooper contained in the kitchen while my husband and I are out of the house. I am considering the Richell crate: http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...earch&keepsr=1. Any suggestions? ~Thanks~ |

| Didn't receive any replies on this post. But I returned the sof-krate after doing a little more research. Apparently it's not a good idea to crate train with a sof-krate. I am still looking for suggestions on a pen, though! ~Thanks~ |

| I think most ex-pens are much the same. I got mine online for cheap, maybe $30. It is about 4 foot in diameter. It is just like the ones you would buy at Petco or Petsmart. Inside, I have Gracie's small crate. I have never shut the door on the crate. I cover all of it except the front with a towel. Inside, I have her comfort pup dog bed. She loves her "room"!

| I have a soft sided crate that I love for travel, but I use a regular crate or xpen for training |

| You must be so excited for December to come! I have the soft folding crate for Lucy when we travel. She uses it as her bed.
