and then there was the driving with the kid in her lap ... I was being facetious ... like where are her children as she is running around town with a new Yorkie (which, BTW, she purchased from a pet store ...UGH!) she is in court these days fighting to keep her kids b/c the courts want to give custody to her ex-husband b/c she is being deemed 'unfit' ....

| While I don't agree with her having a yorkie I feel sorry for her and all celebrities. I would never want to be a famous celebrity. To have my every move watched and every little mistake plastered on a front page on a magazine. I can honestly see why so many celebrities go down hill after being in the spot light. What a horrible society we live in.

I do feel badly for them but the celebrity status is a double edge sword. They need to stay on top so they can continue to make the big bucks (and they sure do enjoy those bucks as evidenced by the high end toys they run around with). It's a very ugly trade off. The thing is though that there are celebrities that manage to live rather private lives off the screen. I think that while some pretend to shun the publicity they actually do revel in it. A good example of that is Victoria Beckham. It has been revealed that she has gotten in the habit of calling ahead and making announcements that she will be here or there so there will be press there for her to make yet another debut. I do feel badly that their every mistake and oops tend to be magnified. But I think for some of the celebrities people love to revel in it and put it out there because of who they are and how they treat people. Some of these celebrities feel as though they are untouchable because they are in the movies and on tv etc. They tend to get a bigger paycheck so they figure they are above the rest of us mere mortals. So I think that sort of attitude will put people on their defensive and make them want to highlight those oops on their parts.

| I don't feel sorry for celebs one bit! If Britney cared she would raise her kids somewhere besides Hollywood where all of the paparazii are. One minute poor Britney is waving to the Papz and smiling, the next she's cussing at them. I really think that Britney, Paris, and Lindsey just want the attention. Most celebs are just greedy to keep their fame and make even more money. They could cash in their chips anytime and do something else but they choose not to. OR they could choose to move somewhere else and keep their kids out of the spotlight. I never hear about Brad or Angelina having an "oops" and they're even more famous. I will save my pity for the CHILDREN of these stars who aren't given a choice. |

| Agree.....Also, before going into that business you need to realize what comes with the 'package'. As sad as it is to say, they need to know that once they're big their lives will never be the same....it's almost as if they go into a public profession and their lives are now public information...I know it must be hard to handle all that, but Britney's privacy is the least of her worries at the moment....ALSO- she must have mistaken her yorkie for a clutch, considering how she was holding it... |

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | I do feel bad for them. but at the same time, they bring it upon themselves. Just because they're in the spotlight, no one is forcing them to go out and make stupid decisions. Look at Hilary Duff for example. She has been in the spotlight for a long time, but she isn't constantly doing bad things. She is in it for the good things she's doing. and I was listening to this interview or something. and they had a celebrity on (I forget who it was). and he was saying how people make it seem like it's impossible to avoid the media when you're famous, but actually there are just a few select clubs and what-not where the media hangs out. So if they don't go there, they don't have a problem. I feel bad because every little mistake they make is made into a huge deal, but it comes with the territory. and it's not like they didn't know going in it would happen. that puppy is adorable.

| Britney's Dog Injured People magazine is reporting that her new Yorkie has a cast on its leg!!! Animal protection services did an investigation, but Britney was cleared: http://www.people.com/people/article...053429,00.html. I knew something like this would happen!!! I felt sick when I saw her carrying that little Yorkie. |

| ^^I agree. I am hoping she will tire of her Yorkie like she did with her other puppy, and give London to someone who can better take care her. Seriously, some people should have to fill out applications and pass a screening test before they are allowed to care for an animal. |

| i feel sorry for her she needs to stay out of the lights and get herself together, where's her family that was so close when she was selling records?? on the baby dropping issue, how many people have children and never mess up? my child has been dropped, or almost dropped..lets see my first night home i bumped his head on the wall, uim when he was 7mo he fell off the sofa, im clumsy ive bumped his head a few times my mom jokes that he needs a helmet. i dont think people should label her a bad mom for that incident, when you are dressing to what people expect (heels) and you have a mob of people around you, and you probably cant look down to watch your own feet you are bound to have a accidents and people shouldnt throw stones. i think people want to think she is awful and want to talk bad about her. ill admit that im not impressed with her and find some of the things shes done wrong. but i wont talk bad about her because she makes the same mistakes as everyone else. no one knows what is going in her life for real. there is an old saying dont believe what you hear and believe only half of what you see. so lets see i have yorkies and small kids, kids can accidently injure dogs, i broke my moms dog's leg when i was yonger..neither one of us are bad owners or mothers because of that, i dropped and bumped my kid before that doesnt make me a bad mother..how many people can say they have never had an incident with their kids? i do agree she should just stay home, and be quiet with her family and work on her family. but its got to be frustrating to go out to buy something and everyone has to make an opinion on it. and you know people are making stuff up as they go, people feed off of the news that someone is rolling down hill, it makes them feel better. i do agree that she needs to go hide somewhere |
