| [News] Volunteer Snatches Yorkie Out of Pet Shop HALES CORNERS -- Victimized by a volunteer. Cops are looking for a man who pulled a five-finger discount of a four-legged friend. On Wednesday, workers at Corners Pet Shop say a man who volunteered to walk dogs took a 4-month old Yorkshire Terrier from his cage and handed it off to someone through a back door. Surveillance video shows the man returning minutes later without a dog. He then completed his volunteering duties and left. Workers say the dog has a tan face and black body. If you have any information about this case, please call Hales Corners Police. Corners Pet Shop is now offering a $1,000 reward for the safe return of the dog and information that leads to a conviction in the case. | Oh No! This is in my state, about 40 min from me. This kind of thing upsets me so much. Stealing is wrong but when it is a living thing it's just so much worse. That little furbaby has feelings and it's probably scared to pieces. Wisconsin apologizes for this thing masquarading as a human. |

| This is just a few short miles from my house.... I'm always paranoid about my two as it is, now I have this guy to worry about! I used to shop there a while ago, but haven't since they started selling dogs (I won't support any stores that sell puppies)... Which is too bad, 'cuz they had some cute stuff! | Wow, I didn't hear about this. I live about 5min from this pet store, infact, I was just in there last weekend and I saw this Yorkie. I will say he was a large Yorkie. I can't believe it. One of the workers there is a friend of mine, she has worked there for 20yrs. I hope they find the puppy. How crazy is that and what a stupid volunteer, didn't he realize that cameras were on him..jeeze..?? Kathy |

| I just love how the pet store doesn't care about anything but money. They are only asking for a $1000 reward, and if he is returned, they will sell him for two or three times that much....

| That's honestly what I'm hoping. Hopefully the puppy is in a loving home and being taken care of.

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | I was thinking about something. You never know really what someone is planning. Certain people on here all the time say that they wish they could just take all of the dogs in pet stores away from those horrible places to be loved. Maybe that's what this man wanted, except he actually did it. Or it could be some jerk.
