[News] Joy As One Stolen Yorkie is Found (UK) We've found one of Bruce Forsyth's daughter's missing dogs, but can you help us find the other? Yesterday Bruce Forsyth made an emotional appeal for the return of his daughters' dogs which were stolen from the back of a car. The Strictly Come Dancing host was desperate to get the two Yorkshire terriers back and GMTV has obliged. Yorkshire terriers Gizmo and Widget were grabbed from Debbie Matthews' BMW 5 Series car as she shopped in Marks & Spencer on Tuesday 2nd May. They had been neutered and so were no good for breeding. The male dogs were wearing distinctive red bandanna collars with red identity discs and red hearts when they were taken by thieves who smashed the car window. An emotional reunion GMTV was contacted yesterday lunchtime by a lady who said her fiance has a dog called Reggie who fits the description of Widget. We called her fiance who, on seeing Reggie respond by jumping up when he called him Widget, was convinced he had the missing dog. He had bought the dog about a week ago from Southall market. When he got him, the dog had no collar on and was wearing a black and blue harness. GMTV has since contacted The Dog Lost website and after checking the microchip installed in the dog, we can confirm that Reggie was in fact Widget in a past life. So Widget has now been returned to his owner, however Gizmo is still missing. Can you help us find him? If you have any information on the whereabouts of the 7 year old Yorkshire terrier, please let us know by filling in the attached form. Alternatively call Dog Lost on 01302 743 361 http://www.gm.tv/index.cfm?articleid=20551

I live very near where these dogs were taken from I cannot belive someone out there has the gall to break into a car window and take the two Yorkies, it is a very busy carpark people coming and going all the time along with car washers up nearly every aisle. When I had my Rob I used to leave him in the car when the weather was not to hot he used to love watching the shoppers I will not be doing that with any future Yorkies. Dog napping seems to be on the up so be careful out there I understand they are even being taken from gardens. This lady was lucky to have the media coverage to publicize her stolen dogs many people are not so lucky.Prayers her other Yorkie is returned safe and sound.

Update: BRUCE Forsyth's daughter was yesterday reunited with the second of her stolen dogs, Yorkshire terrier Gizmo was returned to Debbie Matthews a day after his brother Widget had been found. The pair were stolen from her car in Camberley, Surrey, a fortnight ago. Both were on sale at a West London market and were identified by shoppers who saw her appeal on GMTV. A pal said: "Debbie is thrilled." http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/tm_obje...name_page.html
