| Hair in eyes I hope it is ok to put this here. if not sorry. but can someone give me some advice on how to keep the hair from growing and poking in my babies eyes? I know keep it trimmed but the last time I took her somewhere it look like the skinned down her nose so I want to try this myself and I see some of you'all precious pics where the hair is long at the nose but it is downward. hers seems to grow upward toward her eyes. thanks for all the help. proud momma to Moch Last edited by pdtalker; 12-31-2013 at 07:57 PM. | Yes, the good old days are gone! So very sorry, of course everyone learns differently. I taught every grade level from Pre-K to high school seniors in 28 years. I could tell from this owner's response that she and her dog have been through a lot. It is not just the members' messages to be more careful, but some members' wording was overly harsh. The woman had already put quite enough blame on herself. The woman and her dog are a loving pair who went through a very bad ordeal; thank goodness it ended well. I have had my own human students shot and killed, as well as losing beloved pets through illness or accidents over 64 years. Yes, we all learn differently, but please, we don't know this "student" you are lecturing that well. What some can absorb and learn from criticism, others may not return again for our aide. That is a fact of life I have sadly witnessed in our public classrooms. Good night, blessings to all, Sue & Taffy |

| For PD Talker There is a wonderful little palm-sized, battery-powered dog grooming razor listed under "Yellow Dog" products by ConairePro that I was just lucky enough to run into at TJ Maxx of all places in their dog products aisle. It normally sells for $19.00 or up; they had it for $9.95. It very gently and easily trims Taffy's hair, going downward away from his eyes. It is wonderful for trimming downward around his little paws and across the bottoms of his paws as well as the tops of his ears (don't trim going upward against the edges of the ears though--just hold ear still against your hand and trim flat on front & back. It is such a gentle little humming sound that if I start with Taffy's paws, he's pretty calm by the time I get to his head! I still would rather use the same company's round-tipped scissors on his bottom; I don't want germs from his feces on the palm razor that goes near his eyes. You may spot something like it at a pet shop or contact the Conaire Co. on the internet. It works very safely, I keep a firm hold on his chin. Best wishes, Sue & Taffy |

| I know this is old news but anyone know if they ever got their dog back? This is the first I've heard of this story and this is the most terrible story I've ever heard, that Yorkie doesn't deserve this type of life. I don't know what I would do if someone were to take my dogs and not go through with returning them like this. Heartless individual or group of people here. I hope she gets her dog back, that's family, period. Extorting money to get a dog back is on a different level than taking my tv or breaking into my car, a life is on the line and that yorkie is probably freaked out to death about why they're not home with family.

| What do you think about celebrities without makeup? I am watching this show right now and i'm horrified! What kind of message are they sending to girls? Laughing at women who go outside without make-up on? These celebs don't even look bad! They are just bad pictures of them. Like we would have a show doing this to male celebrities. As if! |
