Happily guilty - well except my pups aren't overweight We have yet to travel without our pups. Although currently I'm trying to figure out a) how to travel to Ireland with our gang and b) convince my hubby we should take all the pups with us. There is a good article in the Travel section about this. I think you go through Paris and get a health certificate there, and then onto Ireland. But the thought of cargo for the two big dogs, is a worrisome one for me too. The thought of two wks without our dogs is not a good one at all. |

Check that about going through Paris. France is listed as a "third country" International Pet Travel - PetTravel.com |

I do treat my yorkies like children, I have no skin kids, They are my babies, definitely! :) |
I call my 2 dogs, "my girls" all the time. I have a hard time leaving home for a long time without missing them. i hate to leave Suzi and Miely for too long. I saw a lot of myself in that study. LOL . My 2 little ones can do no wrong. ;) |

Makes me wonder why we "need" our companion animals more than ever before! People tend to cling tighter to them now days, panic if they even get out of sight when outside and yes baby them. Maybe the nurturing instinct and the need to be loved is stronger these days. It's all good if we keep in mind they are dogs first, and need to do all the things dogs love doing. I will always say "my girls" simply because saying "dogs" is difficult to get out. ;) Yep they are my fur-kids and I wouldn't have it any other way! |
