| When it comes to shelters I trust no one. That is how I ended up with Gracie. I had to take a dog there and went back every day to make sure it's owner came for it. It went home on day 2 thank God. Not sure what I would have done had the owner not come, But I can tell you she would not have stayed there. I normally keep them till I find the owner but she was trying to come through the sliding glass door after my cats and tore the fence down trying to get my neighbors dogs. |

| I have been shocked to see this happen as well. Its truely unbelievable!! What more can I say......obviously people knew this was happening & thats why they went to the press about it....& some undercover work had to be done to catch such scumbags with some powerfull positions....... I dont believe there were any women charged in this case??

| Donations... For some years now my husband was donating to them as well. This is truly a shame!!! His property should be given back to the animals in need. All the donations given obviously went into his pocket.

| This is just sick! I could never let an animal live like that!!!! Geeeezzz my pets not only eat better than I do but they live better too! My pets always come first! I get so sick to my stomach when I see these things. It makes me so mad. I had to stop looking at the pics they have posted because I started crying and my boyfriend closed my laptop. I hope those animals get the right help asap. |

| Horrible Horrible, is the only word that comes to mind! Seeing those pics and reading the article makes me very leery of any humane society. I was always under the assumption(s) that ANY humane society was a "safe haven" for animals, this situation has proven me wrong. |

This should have been a red flag, they should have to be accountable for their spending to all donating participants. This makes people think negative about donating, but what happens to all the thousand of animals out there. I am sure they had to take care of some of the animals, or they would have been caught a long time ago. Sad storey, but a lot of good people in the SPCA also. Hugs Mary & Tiffany & Chanel
