| First, I have to say that I'm so angry that these people were not charged in February! WTF why did they get to live free while these babies lived...well, we all know how they lived. Karma, where are you?! I am glad that they are charged now (please, don't mistake me) and I'm ecstatic that they face Felony charges!!! NOW, the DA or CA need to take the case to trial and not take any pleas from these low life scum! I'll happily write a letter to the judge and the DA/CA! I think the prosecutors need letters coming at them too so that they don't take a plea and try to sweep this under the rug. Quote:

| Puppy Mill I really don't think that in this case anything we can do or say will make a difference. They will get fined and suspended jail time for community service. They are just the tip of the iceberg, there is an estimated 2,000 operating puppy mills, maybe some conditions are better then others, BUT still they treat dogs like sh _ _ and bred the dogs to death. AKC is trying to make a difference and shutting some of them down, they are being suspended, BUT all they do is move to anther registery. That's why there are so many registerys out there. People want to know why AKC is such a BIG deal. They are stopping them from registering with AKC, cause most of them fail DNA tests as well as minium standards. AKC has 125 yrs behind them. I wish there was a simple answer but there really isn't! I'm with you all and anything I can do I will Educating people on not buying from pet shops and websites that sell puppies. try to Educate eveyone no matter what breed it is. A PUPPY in a PET STORE came from a puppy mill!!!! i know this seem to simple BUT anything is better than nothing Sparkling Blu Yorkies |

| County Prosecutor Kristen Tuohy I did my part and let the above referenced know what I thought of the matter. It is sickening that a human can treat an animal this way. Just think if these people had the opportunity what they would do to humans? Totally and completely inhumane, makes me sick to my stomach! Thank you for letting us know about this. | I just want to cry when reading what these poor dogs went through. I watched the Cesar Millan puppy mill episode. Apparently, the USDA regulations allow "breeders" to have 100 dogs. 100 dogs!!! How can they take care of that many? As proven in this case (93 dogs), they can't. Laws need to be changed and better regulations put into place. |
