| That's a very sad story. There dosen't seem to be any real proof that the dog's did this only speculation. Unless the dog's were threathened or sick I can't see them attacking a human. They even mentioned puppies too. Once again, someone may just be jumping to conclutions. |

| This story made me so sad - it happened very close to where I live - my husband is a professor at UGA too. We didn't know the couple or the dogs, but my impression from the articles in the local paper is that it was confirmed that the dogs did kill the couple. The dogs were in an abandoned house, but the previous owner was coming back to feed them every other day. They apparently hadn't shown signs of violence before, but were being allowed to roam freely. The couple had 7 dogs themselves which are now being checked and will be put up for adoption. So, lots of dogs suffered in this event, a couple was killed and probably all because someone didn't care enough to take adequate care of an entire pack of dogs for which they were responsible. I just look at my dogs and think how much I love them and care for them - how could anyone do these things? I just don't get it.

So they actually know the dog's did this. That's different then the article I read. If this is true then the owner's of these dog's need to be held responsible! Those poor people. | |

| I'm sorry but if the dogs mutilated this couple like they said..wouldn't the dogs had at least some blood on them. I don't beleive they have any evidence proving they did this.. Either way whatever did it..I feel so bad for this couple. |
