| The article was very helpful. We recently had to put down our 16 year old yorkie - Spike. We are looking to have another yorkie in our home since we miss him so much. If there is anyone in the Connecticut area who knows of a reliable breeder or a puppy that is looking for a home, we would be very interested. |

These breeders usually have high standards on where there dogs go, and are more interested in placing a dog in a home than selling a pup, but if you can pass their tests, you can find a great dog, at a great price. Be sure and tell them your yorkie lived for 16 years, that's a great reference!
