I'm not sure if everyone knows this already...but poor little BoBo passed away...he's at peace now and in no pain...but hopefully that evil woman is...and will be for a very long time.

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) ― A 6-year-old Yorkshire terrier who was burned on a stove in a Lakewood apartment has died of his injuries.

The dog, named Bobo, suffered second- and third-degree burns over 50 percent of his body Sunday after he was tied up with speaker wire and placed on a burning telephone book on a lit stove burner.

Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital veterinarian Dr. Elisa Mazzaferro said Thursday morning that the complications of being burned were too much for the animal's organs.

He died overnight.

Police on Sunday arrested Bobo's owner, 38-year-old Tanya Martin, on suspicion of fourth-degree arson and animal cruelty. Her uncle, Leo Cordova, says she suffers from mental illness.

Poor little Bobo! That is so terrible. RIP Bobo.....How could someone be so cruel to such a precious animal? He probably loved her to no end and she was so mean to him like that. That is just ridiculous! I couldn't imagine doing anything mean to my Sadie. What was she thinking? RIP Precious Bobo.

I would like to spend 2 minutes with that @%@$^@$##^ and I'd let her know just what I thought of her. That poor poor puppy. He looks so sad and in pain. I hate people who are cruel to any living thing.

DITTO !! I just heard on the news this morning, something about a couple who hit their dog on the head with a hammer, and buried him alive, because the dog was sick and had to be put down. Well the dog died, and the autopsy showed the dog was NOT dying of some disease, but from lack of nourishment, and food. They are in jail. I didn't see where this was.
OMG! What is this world coming to? I can't stand all this abuse. I look at my babies and think "How could someone even THINK of doing such a crime?"

These both are beyond cruel. By far.

Until our courts start handing out stiff penalties and fines.. and JAIL time.. these horrible things will not stop.

Our town is good at it.. BIG headlines and town outcry when something like this happens. Then the small fine or community service is posted somewhere in the back of the paper months later. It pisses me off.

Punishments should match the crime!
