| [News] Hole lot of thanks to blind dog’s rescuers Hole lot of thanks to blind dog’s rescuers (United Kingdom) ***(see the link at the bottom of this page for a photo. He's so cute!) A GREAT-GRANDMOTHER wants to thank the family who helped save her dog after it became trapped down a hole. Doris Culwick was walking her Yorkshire terrier Billy, who is blind and diabetic, when it fell down a manhole near Kent Road, Orpington. The 77-year-old, who is staying with her daughter in Anglesey Road, Orpington, paid tribute to the firemen who came to her dog's rescue. But Mrs Culwick, from the Isle of Sheppey, is especially keen to get in touch with a family which carried her 12-year-old dog, who was covered in raw sewage, back to where she was staying and washed it for her. She said: "They were little angels." If you are from the family who helped Mrs Culwick on May 27, call her on 01795 510964. 9:30am Tuesday 3rd June 2008 Hole Lot Of Thanks To Blind Dogs Rescuers (from News Shopper)

| Me too! I needed some good news with my coffee this morning. I always try to put the happy face icon next to happy stories I post. Just FYI.
