| Weird sounds from my yorkie Teddy (10 months old) has these weirds sounds coming out from his mouth for the past 2 days. it's like choking or coughing...i don't know how to describe it. anyone has any idea regardging this? is this something normal? and another question is is it suitable to place him in my bedroom which is air conditioned? pls advise.thanks a lot. |

| Is it gagging or dry heeving? Has he had the bortedella vaccination? Air conditioning is fine as long as its not too cold for him, if need be he can wear a shirt indoors. |

| I'm in Florida so we always have the air on, and mine are just fine. If they get to cold them bury themselves under the blankets I have for them.

Does it sound grunting like a pig? Could be the Trachea, it may not be collapsed but often when they are young they cant regulate it properly and sometimes toy breeds get this sound. my current puppy had it really bad and I thought he had Trachea collapse but he outgrew the grunting. Now if this puppy is coughing as well he may have contracted Kennel cough | |
