| Unprocessed honey? Can dogs have raw and unprocessed honey? Can they have it at any age?

| I don't know? Does this have to do with her liver or skin issues? |

| No, not at all. It is just a general question because I want to make some treats with honey in them for a dog that I am watching this weekend. The processed honey, in my opinion, is, welllll, garbage.

| There was just an article in the Whole Dog Journal last month about raw honey and other bee products.... Someone had said it helped their dog with allergies. |

| I was told that feeding raw honey to a dog with congestive heart failure would be beneficial to them. Unfortunately, it was to late for my baby, Chipper. |

| Some people are iffy about honey because of botulism, it's a worry for human infants but I don't know how dogs handle it. Google honey and botulism and make your descision from what you learn. I think the point of processing honey is to rid it of the clostridum botulinum. They make us nursing students take microbiology....
