| The Petzlife will definitely help, but you will need to figure out a way to brush as well. Try one of those cheap travel toothbrushes and give it to him to chew on. I "brush" my girls teeth with a piece of guaze wrapped around my finger. It it much gentler on their gums and does a really good job of getting stuff off the teeth as well. It is important to be consistent, meaning daily!!!!! Good luck.

| JODIE... THANKS SO MUCH... I will definitely try the gauze ... since I ordered the pack (spray and gel) what do you suggest I use first?? I was thinking of getting the one with the Salmon oil but I changed my mind... do you think that was wise??

| Some tootpastes come with a little finger brush you can use. It slips over your index finger and you brush with that. I've had a lot more luck with that.

| ppl say that bullysticks are good for them b/c they chew on em and help with their teeth .. but i heard they were bad to digest or hard to that is... and another thing with bullysticks is that Chicle becomes EVIL... I MEAN ITS LIKE DR. JEKYLE MR. HYDE.. im not kidding he gets too aggressive that i just dont give him anything that he will guard like that ... Im wondering if theres something else i can give him to chew on to help his teeth out besides the Petzlife.. ANY IDEAS GUYS??

| Sarge is still a puppy, so I use his playful nature against him and let him play with the toothbrush, tugging it away from him while he's fighting me for it. So when hes in a calmer mood he thinks its one of his toys I'm moving around in his mouth and were playing. He might grow out of it, but its working for now. |

| Or you can get one side done one day and the other the next. I wait until Maxwell is in the evening sleepy mode. But please don't blow it off like I did with my first Yorkie. I'm not a fanatic about it now, but clean teeth aren't just for looks or to smell better -- it's for their organ health. |
