| What kind of food for new puppies??? So, Tinkerbell's babies just turned 4 weeks old on Sunday, and she has been trying to wean them off, I have been supplementing them with baby rice cereal and Esbelic Goat's Milk, they eat some of it but not alot but they are good at laping it up. I started noticing they are trying to eat out of Tinkerbell's dry food I can feel their teeth one of them actually ate 2 pebbles they are good at picking it up with their tiny mouth. Now my question is what do I feed them as far as dry food?? I have Tinkerbell on NUTRO ULTRA ADULT SMALL BREED, but they only make puppy food for standard dogs not small breed, should I feed another brand?? or should I try the puppy one even though is not for small breeds?? I dont know what to do??

| food for tiny pups I reallly like Nutro Source small puppy dry. It is the tiniest kibble I have seen. The other small kibble that is good is Chicken Soup Puppy and Iams Eukanuba small breed puppy. They are all great for those tiny mouths!!! Lynn |

| Eukanuba makes a very very tiny bite, Eukanuba Small Bites for small dogs. I feel very confident giving it to my puppies, some start eating it as early as 3 weeks old. Once they are 8 weeks old, I begin a slow change to Nutro Natural Choice lamb and rice for puppies. But they can continue to do well on the Euk. Marsha Pressley Miracle Yorkies |
