| Dental chews for a puppy? Aira is 16 weeks old and loves to chew. I was thinking of getting her some dental chews. Does anyone know what dental chews would be ok for her. Specifically are Pedigree Dentabones or Nylabone NutriDent chews ok? I am concerned that these might be hard for her to digest or not appropriate for a puppy. Can anyone recommend other chews? |

| My two fight over a chew toy made by Nylabone...it's for "power chewers" like Emma! Here's a link to one. http://www.petedge.com/Durable-Denta...ne-TF22101.pro They LOVE it! It seems kind of big and heavy for them, but they don't have any problem carrying it around, so I don't worry! I'd rather it be too large than too small and worry about them choking on it!

| Kayla is 11wks. old and chews on everything. I gave my other two a dental bone the other nite, which I normally do not. These were not the greenies because they have gotten sick on them before. I gave Kayla one and it kinda balled up in her throat. Instead of staying hard like, it got soft and she got choked. Scared me half to death so I haven't given her nothing but her little Mother Hubbard puppy bones since. |
