| Bump on Eyelid TJ has a small bump on his lower eyelid. I noticed it on Sunday. I tried putting a hot/warm wash cloth on it and it seemed to get better. I could still see it, but it was faint. Well it never went away completely and now tonight it is big again. He doesn't itch or even seem to act as if 'something' is there. It's strange, b/c if it were me, I'd be bothered. Anyway, I have no idea what it is? Has anyone else had this? I don't think it is a bug bite, b/c like I said, he isn't acting weird about it ...anyone... Last edited by TLC; 08-30-2007 at 03:28 PM. |

| Chandler had a cyst removed from his lower lid during his 2nd knee surgery. It would appear big and other times it was smaller. Totally benign and the clue was that it changed sizes. If it isn't bothering him I would wait until his next check up.

| man if it's not one thing, its another I love these little guys like they were my children. And I can honestly say, they have well fullfilled any and all urges to have children (many many times). I am wiped...(and going to go back on the pill - hahahaha) I thought it was a sty, but it is pretty big - at least on TJ's lid. I am thinking it might be an allergic reaction to something, what I don't know, he's been eating new things this past week, so it could be anything... Or it could be a cyst. I will just keep a close eye on it (hahahaha) And I will try the warm compress again. GESH - At least Cuddles has a Clean Bill of Health (so far ) Thanks Guys |

| Sugar has the same thing. My vet told me it was cyst and to put warm compresses on it and some medicine to put on it and said it should go away pretty quick. I did notice that using a warm compress, that it would get smaller. Hope you get it figured out soon!!

| My chloe had a big sty and I put compresses on it several times during the day and it finally popped. It was nasty. But it was gone after that. |

| So it was still there this morning. Maybe it is a sty. It was kinda red but sort white too. I am going to keep putting a warm compress on it all weekend, and hopefully it will eventually open. |

| I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am that I have Monday off too. I have a lot to do this weekend - all for Roxy and TJ But that's ok. And TJ's eye, I have no idea why on earth this thing isn't even phasing him. I mean, I look at him and I just wish I could try to squeeze it, b/c if it were on my eye, I'd be going nuts!!! It is on his bottom lid and it is about 1/8 of an inch away from the corner of his eye, and it is about 1/8 of inch big, so how this thing doesn't bother him is beyond me. But he is so good, he sits on my lap and lets me hold the warm wash cloth over his eye, his a 'Mamma's Boy" |

| What a good boy!! Sometimes, they don't like to sit still, but I'm so glad that TJ is such a good boy Miko is like that too...When he's having a seizure, he lets me give him his lactulose and put the ice pack on him, and he will sit still until he's feeling better because he knows it's for his own good. He rarely ever gets seizures anymore since I started him on Dr. dodds and increased the lactulose...

| That's great. Miko is a Momma's Boy too Aren't they the BEST I love Roxy and Cuddles with all my heart too, but they are just not the same as my Baby Boy TJ just has so much affection, he is very independent, but there's no doubt he's got the Momma's Boy curse |

| Was he groomed recently? Last time Piper was groomed they accidently cut his lower eyelid, and it was all swollen.

| It could be a cyst. My Chin had one removed on his lower lid (where lashes grow) and it was benign (white), 6 months ago. He had another on the same eye just removed, different area. I didn't wait until it got bigger. Jessica |
