| Home cooking I started making boiled chicken and carrots for zoey. I feed her twice a day morning and night. I leave out Canidae all stage for her to nibble. Is this healthy? Does she need supplements? She eats about 1/2 cup of Cannidae every 2-3 days plus the boiled chicken and baby carrots. Her poop has decreased in size and frequency. Just wondering if this is a healthy diet?? Her weight is holding steady at 4 lbs.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Sounds like you're both doing GREAT w/ home cooking, good for you! If she is eating much less kibble than before and higher protein (which is usually the case w/ homecooking), then she may need some supps. I use Solid Gold's Bone Meal for the calcium (which they need w/ the added meat/protein) and I use a supplement that provides multi vit/mineral, probiotics, EFAs, digestive enzymes: http://www.onlynaturalpet.com/produc...at/999065.aspx
