| Lilly - a fussy "teenage" eater? Lately my 5 month old ratty has become quite finicky. She used to love her detastix and went crazy whenever I so much as went to open the packet! Now she seems happy but instead of wolfing them down seems to suck it almost unsure of whetherr she wants to eat it or not.. is she having teething problems? Any ideas?? Am starting to worry... she takes all night to suckle one dentastix these days..

| I never heard of eating something like that. What kind of food is it?

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Could be teething. Even if it's not though - it's funny - Wylie will sometimes wolf his Dentastix, then other times he needs to "save it" or "possess it" for awhile before eating it. Sometimes fast, sometimes slow. So, who knows? But, given her age, it could definitely be sore gums/teeth.

| thanks guys... she's also got a bit of bad breath recently and I hear that can be related to teething?? Should I have a vet check?
