Yeah we can laugh about it now....yikes....we're in the same boat - right now I'm mixing my samples of the Canadae and Back to Basics - first it was just Back to Basics then it was California Natural and now these two mixed...yes they are super spoiled, but you gotta luv em.

| Yup! You've got a typical yorkie! The best way to change foods is to mix in a little of the new food and gradually increase the amount until you've made the total change to the new food. Of course, since it's yorkies we're talking about, there isn't a guarantee this will work, either.

| OK...Im glad it's not just me. Im mixing food together like a crazy mad scientist and Zoey is picking through it like a taste tester. She actually spits out food after chewing on it.

| Ohhhhh Myyyyyy...this sounds like its quite typical for a yorkie....I'm beside myself....my lil one just started not eating out of her food dish 2 weeks ago.....but if I put her kibble in an empty water bottle she will play with it and get the kibble out and eat it....her vet says that she just likes to work for her food....As a mom...I'm worried about her not getting enough to eat...i have tried adding yogurt/paramasan cheese/baby food carrots/watering the kibble down thinking maybe it's her teething and chewing on the kibble may be too hard for her right now....ugggggggg....how do we make sure that our lil ones are getting enough nourishment so that they can grow up strong and healthy????? Is she just getting bored with her food after 6 mths of being on the same food????? Please help !!!!!
