| when do the girls get there cycles .. ok i have never owned a girl dog b4 .. when is she suppose to go in heat .. she can she mate .. how long does it take .. how often does it happen .. im not sure and know nothing about it .. but i know its not like humans .. any help will be great thanks .. |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | some girls start as soon as 5-6 months for first heat. NO WAY SHOULD THEY BE BRED AT THIS AGE! Some girls will heat every 6 months after that...some only heat once a year. There are a lot of threads on this forum about breeding. Just because your girl CAN breed does NOT mean that she should. Lots of factor's involved.
