| blue buffalo puppy food Has anyone tried this food? I am very pleased w/the ingredient list and Gus seems to love it. My only concern is he still seems hungry after he eats the recommended portion. He is well on his way to being a teapot (which is fine w/me). He is 5 mo old and weighs about 5-6 lbs now.

| blue buffalo I just bought a bag today. The puppy kibble is too big for the weaning stage, but the mom loves it and so do the other adults. Ingredients look good though. Lynn |

| Gus is the just about the same age/weight as my Izzie...(6ths old and 5.4 ozs) How much are you feeding Gus a day??? I just ordered a sample pkg the other day.....Izzie has been on Eukeunba since I got her as this was the food that her breeder was feeding her...now that she is a bit older I would like to get her on another food that is better.. Will let you know how she likes it once I get it....

I free feed so my dogs eat when they want all day long...they dont seem to eat more than they did with any of the other foods they have been on..maybe yours just love the taste lol... Dawn |

| Gus gets between 1/4-1/3 c in morning and same amount at night. I have to feed him separate from his mini weenie sis, she is 3 and on different food. He thinks he can just stick his mouth in any bowl and eat. His Rhodesian Ridgeback brother and lab sis live outside and he even wants to eat their food!!! I think he just loves to eat.

| I fed it to layla when we first got her. It made her sick for over a month. If you search it online there are many articles written about the food and the issues the company has had. i have the links if you are interested. As soon as i took her off the food the vomiting and diarrhea went away... she lost over 1/2 a pound during that time. Also their treats and wet food were involved in the recall. Just something to think about. |

| thanks for the info. so far we have had no problems. Gus is on the chicken and brown rice puppy food (dry). I have never felt comfortable feeding canned dog food, so we will see how it goes. This little guy eats so much chicken I feel I should check him daily for feathers...LOL. I have a food dehydrator and I have been making chicken jerky for my lab for about a yr now and Gus adores it.

| I've been feeding Blue Buffalo kibble for quite awhile, and both my dogs love it. My furgirls have tried both the Chicken and Lamb varieties of puppy food, and Emma has eaten the Chicken, Lamb, and the Fish/Sweet Potato recipes of the adult food. I've had no problem with the food, and my dogs have been really healthy on it. I've just started homecooking, and plan to do this for most of their meals, with some supplemental kibble. I was going to switch from BB to Canidae, but have read many reports of foreign objects in that brand of food lately, so I won't be feeding that. I feel that BB is a good food, has good ingredients, and is a good and honest company, in my experience with them. Yes, their wet food was recalled in May, but that was precautionary-no evidence of anything harmful was found in their food, and because of that they pulled their foods from that particular manufacturer. They also now test their food before, during, and after production to ensure safety and quality.
