| Bone recommendation?? Hi all!!! I wanna give bone to Chloe (besides treat biscuit) to keep her teeth healthy and clean! I do brush her teeth daily at night. Do you know what brand and where I can buy good bone??? I did Greenie before, but after reading so many bad things about it. I am scared to give it to her even it has improved and suppose to be safe for our furbabies!! |

| Bully Sticks!!! I bought my Yorkie a Bully Stick after reading about them on one of the posts - she LOVES them. They are made my Merick and are all natural. They are in a twisted spiral shape so when the dog chews, it reaches different angles in their mouth and helps with tartar. Nyla Bones are also good for a dry chewable bone.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Do you mean real bones? It sounds like you do. Hopefully, Yorkiedaze will chime in bc she know a lot about which bones, where to try to find them etcetera. You could always PM her, but hopefully she'll see this so others can get the answer too.

| You can buy beef bones in any super market ( the kind you make soup with) and remove any access fat to give them, however, I find it difficult to find one small enough for Buddy's mouth. I buy white natural bones in my pet store. They come in different sizes. They are the same as above however they have already been cleaned up and hollow. I fill them with peanut butter, cheese etc for an added treat at times. I just bought Sweet Potato chews. Something new to me. They were expensive (7.99) per package but they are very hard and an all natural chew for the dogs. Buddy loves them. I find things like bullysticks give him loose stools. |

Thanks!! __________________ Please stay away from Nylabones unless they are the digestable kind. The plastic chew kind are very dangerous to your pup and can cause major problems to the lining of the stomach and intestines. The sweet potato chews I bought in my local pet store. It's not a chain store but you can try Petco or Petsmart for them. Sweet potatos are very good and full of vitimins and minerals and all natural. Yes, they are very, very hard. Smells just like a sweet potato too. No mess on floors or carpeting also. I am sorry I can't remember the name, possible Vitimin something. It was a clear bag with an orange front. |

| I just bought some sweet potato chews today for Oscar and he loves them! They are called Dr-Chew, The Original. They are 100% sweet potato and nothing else. They provide the following benefits: -100% natural & healthy -Rich in Beta-carotene, vitamins & minerals -High in dietary fiber & fat free -Help clean teech & freshen breath -Nutritous & no blockage They come in a petite size for dogs under 10 pounds also...those are the ones I got and it took Oscar about 20 minutes to finish it and let me tell you, he did not let up til it was ALL gone! There are 31 to a bag for $11.99...a one pound bag of chews.
