| All grown up? When is a puppy no longer a puppy and is considered an adult? My Zoey will be 10 months on August 3rd. When should I change her puppy food to adult food?

| A dogs size usually tapers off at a year old, but their vital organs are not fully matured till they are 18 months old. I'd leave her on puppy food till then anyway. |

| I was told to change to adult food at 10 months and it also says the same thing on my dog food label. |

| Small breeds can go on adult food at 10 months. The large breeds growth is slower so they stay on puppy food longer. |
