spots on belly My little guy has a few, too. I think they're like belly-freckles. Boys have little breast nipples, too, which are darker colored dots on the belly. You could call your vet and ask about the spots for peace of mind

I just took my Gracie to the vet and asked her about the brown spots that showed up very recently on her belly. The vet said they are freckles and nothing to worry about. Now, Gracie's freckles are not like scabs, they are just discolorations in the skin on her little tummy.

I can tell you that when my females have had one heat cycle they get those spots. Supposedly related to hormones. Also, Yorkies who carry the piebald gene have ticking on their skin. Years ago I bathed and hauled one of my girls to the vet with instructions to really SCRUB her tummy while under anes for dentals. I splained that I had scrubbed as much as I dared and could not get the dirt off. I thought the girl had crawled under the new deck and got something on her. I had a post-op note when I picked her up saying I was not a bad mommy-they couldn't scrub the spots off either.. So, now, I just use that as an excuse for almost everything. But, I can't get by with that excuse when their nails are an inch long and they have a bezillion mats..Just kiddin!
