| IMO I would not give Buddy cold cuts. They are full of salt and fat. Try baby carrots and cooked green beans. Maybe you'll have luck with those. Even a tsp of plain vanilla yogart or cottage cheese once a day. Have you tried Old mother hubbard's treats? Some varieties are very tiny and they are made of good ingrediants. |

| I use the natural balance sticks and cut them up into pieces. They come in different flavors and its good for them. The are readily available from Petco. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | In moderation, they're probably not too bad - maybe look if there is a low-sodium version. He might like those little toddler "dogs" - found in the baby section - my guys love those. Have you tried Pupperoni - those are kind of meaty?

| I don't like the idea of giving lunch meat (although I probably have before). It is so salty and it has a huge amount of preservatives in it along with fat. Maybe you could cook a chicken or turkey and give your dog little pieces of the meat (not fat or skin). He might like that.

Lunchmeat realy is not good for dogs...It can cause pancreatitis, and you don't want to have to deal with that.

| I give mine Boar's Head Low Sodium turkey breast once in a while, but not often. Their little kidneys cannot handle lots of salt and the fat in some lunch meats can give them pancreatitis Moderation is the key! Do a search here for Yorkie Yummies, Cindy makes them and they are the best! Mine are picky too, but they gobble these up like crazy

| I never give mine lunch meat, and ham is not good for them. I feed those little toddler turkey hot dogs, and Jakes love 'em.

YT 500 Club Member | Armani doesnt like treats either, only 2 kinds. Chicken Zekes treats and puperroni. My dad just bought him a huge bag (2lbs) I believe for $12 of pupperoni at Sams club. He gets this as a treat during the day (he only eats twice a day) so this basically helps me to know that he has something in his stomach between dinner and breakfast. HE really likes them especially right from the fridge cuz they are cold he runs around with it, hides it gets it back out and then devours it good luck. and you can get the zekes treats at Petco, they are a really good size for yorkies.

| Processed meats are not good for dogs. Just think "all natural" when it comes to feeding them. Basic food groups. |

| Max gets a drop of Boar's Head turkey mixed in with his morning fat free cottage cheese. He wasn't eating breakfast at all, so I'm giving in for now. I'll find a good substitute. Merrick's makes a sausage-like food I'm going to try instead. Truthfully, I'd like him on just a really good kibble, with some veggies added.

YT 500 Club Member | well if given in moderation they are not bad. He gets half a puperroni per day, I do not think that is harmful. YOu can even cut them into smaller pieces, put them in a zip lock bag and store in the fridge.
