| Flea Question Don't laugh, but where on earth do these pesty things come from??? I have 2 yorkies and we live in the country. Emmy and Oscar don't get to go many places--the vet and the groomer. We do take them outside to potty and walk. They are not around any other animals. Yesterday, Emmy kept scratching and biting one particular spot on her back. I checked and there was a FLEA! I looked and found another one. I did not find any on Oscar. Flea and tick treatments were due for both dogs on the 4th, so I went ahead and put it on + gave each a capstar pill. Where do they come from????????

| They can be picked up outside, unfortunately. Pesky things are hard to get rid of too

| If any wild animals live out in the country where you live, they all probably have them and probably deposit the fleas in your yard when they run through it. I hate fleas! |

| The fleas are terrible in my yard, too, and the vet told me I could give them Frontline every 3 weeks instead of just once a month, so that is waht I do. But I would not do this for long-term. I'm moving in 2 weeks so applying the Frontline every 3 weeks is definately a short-term solution for me. I would treat your yard and your home if I were you. |
