| What are your Yorkie's favorite health snacks? We all know the toxic foods we should keep away from our babies...but what about healthy, human foods? What fruits or other healthy snack do your cuties love? I'm growing a bit tired of the boring daily dog food in a can with the occasional egnimatic biscuit. I'm curious to know about any and every snack--from the typical to the unusual. And how much of it do you give your dog per serving or day? Thanks for the ideas!! |

| My two love apples and carrots. They go bananas over them! I swear they know the sound the knife makes when I'm cutting either one in the kitchen. So whenever I cut some for me or my bf I'm sure to cut some for each of them. I couldn't tell you how much.

| Hard or soft? How do you normally cook your carrots? Do you make them really mushy soft or crispy? I know crunching helps promote heaalhy teeth, but then maybe large pieces of hard food will hurt their digestive systems?? |

| It's not human food, but Gracie loves freeze dried chicken breast. I give her a few small bites with training. There is a different kind that comes in strips and I give her two or three of those a week to chew on.

| favorite health snacks Tricksie loves honeynut cheerios, carrots, yellow squash, green beans, she would eat anything but I do not give her meat. Speaking of eating anything, she chews rugs, bedskirts, any fabric. I wonder if she needs vitamins? </IMG>

| I thought lettuce was not good for dogs. Tricksie loves ice also and pasta. Will have to try a few of yours.

| Ha! I never realized dogs loved Cheerios so much! I will have to try that with Edan...the plain ones right? Also, I have all of these blueberries in my refrigerator because I make blueberrie smoothies occasionally, and sometimes I want to give a couple to Edan but not sure if I should. DO you guys know if blueberries are okay or not? What about some of the more exotic fruit like mangoes and kiwi and pineapple?
