| Lip Gloss question This might seem silly, but I want to make sure I don't make Wickett sick. Since we got him, he absolutely loves to lick lips. Is this common? We've gotten used to it and find it funny. But sometimes I wear lip gloss, something like the flavored Victoria's Secret ones or other types. He'll still lick my lips when I'm wearing it (he actually really enjoyed the Victoria's Secret flavored one). Is that ok? It's not harmful to people, but is it harmful to dogs? This isn't an every day thing, more like once or twice a week? I try to avoid him kissing me when I'm wearing it, but who can resist those sweet yorkie eyes that are dying to give you affection? |

| Well, if he hasn't been sick from it yet, it's probably just fine. I'd just avoid letting him get any plumping type lipgloss because the ingredients in those are meant to irritate and inflame tissue

| It's kind of hard to keep a persistent yorkie from licking you, though. It's so hard to say no. I'm weak! |

| Gracie loves to lick my lips. It does not matter what is on them. If I just put it on, I will turn my head a bit so she gets my chin instead. If it has been on a while, I just let her go for it! She has not gotten sick so far.

| Thanks ladies! I'm relieved to know I won't be making him sick with the occasional lip gloss. I'm thinking of putting on any flavored ones once I've left the house, since those are the ones he goes crazy for. They do taste very yummy! I don't think I can blame him. |
