| Sick puppy - prayers please My 15 week old puppy is sick. He has been vomiting and has diarrhea for 12 hours. I was up with him most of the night feeding him pedialyte from a spoon to keep him hydrated. I have no idea what has caused him to be sick. His diet is the same and he has not gotten into anything as far as I know. He's always been so healthy. I just dropped him off at my vet's office. I'm at work waiting on his prognosis. Poor little guy...I feel so bad for him. Thanks for your prayers...I will post an update when I hear something. Worried mom

| Thanks for all your prayers and concern for Zack. Update: The Vet called and they can't find out why he is sick. No diseases or parasites showing up in bloodwork or stool. Might be viral or bacterial infection. They are giving him antibiotics and fluid. His temp is normal and he weights 4.5 lbs. No recent vomiting but he still has loose stools. He is refusing to eat or drink anything but the vet said that is normal when they are sick. My vet wants me to get some green gatorade for Zack and he will be put on a bland diet. My vet said that he's being a good boy and wants to be held all the time. I can't wait to pick him up after work. Poor baby...he's had a hard time lately. Thank you all again for your prayers! Zack's mom

| I know its scary to have a little puppy that is sick. When Chachi was younger her got diahrea and it could have been just from stress. Hope Zack is feeling better soon.

| I brought Zack home from the vet yesterday. He seems fine...normal. Boy he bounced back fast. I should have named him "Tigger". He's on a bland diet...Prescription Diet can food (Canine i/dŽ) that is easy to digest. He gobbled it up this morning. He loves the liquid antibiotic I give him...it must taste good. Oh and he is crazy for gatorade too! Thanks again for your prayers and well wishes! Zack's mom
