Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Which one would you choose???? Merricks or Wellness? I'm asking because I've been feeding Natural Balance Potato and Duck to Bengi. He likes it, but he's not crazy about it. I ran out of it so I was deciding between getting another bag of Natural Balance or trying something new. I don't want to get food online, but my local petstore carries Wellness and Merrick. Have any of you guys feed those brands? if so, how do you like it? I've seen many people are feeding Candidae now, I might be able to get that in a store a haven't been to yet, is this brand much better than any of the other brands above? I just want to find a food that Bengi would really like, and not just eat it because it's the only food he gets... Thanks in advace! |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I was feeding Wellness but switched due to one of mine needing a special allergy type food. They all liked Wellness.

| I give wellness dry and occasionally merrick's wet. The merricks dry was just a little too big for bailey. They're both really good foods. A lot of stores have samples, maybe you could ask for some samples and see which your baby likes better. |

| Merricks for me. Everyone here is on merricks wet, even the cats. we do the wellness dry and wellness pure rewards treats. Snuggles is extremely picky and she gobbles merricks right up. we tried Wellness wet and they didn't like it. Ive also tried innova and canidae and they gave me the "you eat it then" look. These lil guys keep us on the look out for something tasty when they ever decide to change their minds. Hopefully that wont happen.

| If you're doing dry, I would go with Wellness. If you feed canned, I would go with Merrick. Both are great foods. You could even do a mix of Wellness Dry with some Merrick Canned. Lacy is on a Raw diet (natures variety), but one of my cats eats Merrick canned food (I buy the variety pack). My other cat is on Nature's Variety Canned RAbbit because she has allergies and so I don't vary her food.
