| need advice Dudley is 21 months old. He has always been very active and weighs 3 1/2 to 4 pounds. My question is , has anyone conected eating hamburger with illness in a yorkie? It seems like everytime my husband gives Dudley a bite or two Dudley gets sick. He doesn't vomit but wont eat for 18 hours and sits and shivers. He wont eat, drink, just sleeps and gives me the sad look. What is with that? Any ideas, anyone? |

| Hmmm. Never given Buddy any hamburger... I definately wouldn't give your baby any more hamburger, seems like their may be something in it that's upseting his stomach. You could ask your vet, maybe, see what they think... maybe he's had a reaction? I wouldn't have thoguht so, though.

| I know of a dog that got sick when she ate any beef or beef product. The vet said it was food allergy. |

| I would guess food allergy or just the fat in the hamburger. They're so little that it doesn't take much to upset their little systems. |

| It probably is making him sick because those little guys normally can't handle all of the junk we eat. I would refrain from any and all human food, with the exception of some fruits and veggies as treats. They're not meant to eat human food, much in the same we that we're not meant to eat theirs. Just IMO.
