| Popcorn I have read all kinds of dos and don'ts on here about diet but I am wondering if it would be alright to give Dax an occasional piece of popcorn? My last dog loved it and wouldn't do her tricks better for anything else.... Dax throws a fit for it when I pop but have not let him have any because of digestive issues. However, now that I have him on a different food and some probiotics he is doing so much better. I would appreciate any input and if I did give him any I would make sure it was just the white soft part and not any of the kernel. |

| How old is he? My dogs love popcorn and my sixteen year old border collie who is almost blind and deaf still comes running when she here's it/smells it popping (considering she's on the higher side of a collie's life span I would say it hasn't done her any bad!). Air popped popcorn without butter/salt/oil on it is probably better than the microwave stuff but other than that I'm sure he'd love it =) Good luck- let us know how he likes it =) |

| Emmy Loves Popcorn! My Emmy is 14 months old. She loves the smell and taste of popcorn. When I pop it she comes running and begs until she gets some. She will only eat the white part and spits out the kernel on the floor. When she finishes her popcorn I pick up the discarded kernels. My other yorkie, Alyssa, will not even taste of popcorn. She is a picky eater. |

| A lot of dogs have allergies to corn. So if they start scratching after eating popcorn, discontinue. Mine can't eat it.

Flavor enhanced foods will start dogs eating poo... as well as puppy's... You have to watch the food you feed.. Also many of the dog treats have flavor enhancer some are hidden.. My dogs love pop corn but don't feed the micro stuff as it's not good for humane consumption either.. I have one of those cheap little plastic mico corn poppers and then I put butter just a tad on it as I love butter... My dogs just adore it.. My dogs don't have any allergies that is something that runs in lines.. Except for bees.. My oldest dog is allergic to bee sting. he's 15 yrs old and I keep ephinphine on hand at all times..
