| applesauce?? im at my dads house right now and and i accidently left roman's treats at my house. well he peed on his pad (yay!) and i gave him applesauce as a treat...is applesauce ok for a dog? i dont think there could be anything in it but i never heard of anyone giving it to a dog so im not rele sure... |

| I have given Holly a little taste but it was homemade. My grandma made it for me. They give it to human babies when they have an upset stomach, but I don't know for sure if it would be okay for a puppy.

| very quick thinking! ideally you should be giving them 100% natural to avoid the added sugar.. but for an on-the=spot reward... well done!! (cheese works great too!) |

| Great idea! I've given Jake little pieces of apple (no peeling) as treats, and he loves it. I never thought about applesauce, but I think I'd use all natural to avoid all that sugar. |
